One for the Road

In the spring and summer, whenever I’ve left the house to walk the dog or take a brisk walk, I’ve always had the problem of where to put identification and keys. The remedy — Road ID! A father and son came up with this great concept for people on the go. The ID’s are available for the wrist, ankle, and sneakers; there is also a military dog-tag style, and a sneaker ID with a pouch to hold keys or money.

What’s even more interesting is that they offer an interactive version. First responders can access a phone number or web site using a pin and Id number to obtain emergency response profile information.

This organization also shares the wealth by donating a portion of sales to causes such as, the Arthritis Foundation, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National MS Society, Susan G. Komen For The Cure and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
